Anyone know what the plan is for the motocross races at Haspin? The old link to haspinmx doesn't work anymore and i heard something about them doing away with organized races all together. Hope i heard wrong. Just got a new quad and really want to try it out there.

Sorry, I've never actually watched a race there. When I had my LTR I did take it on both there mx abd sx track.  That was cool.  Not sure where you live, but have you tried Earlywine or TaylorMoto?  This time of year, that would be the place to try out that beast.  The problem with having an LTR is you can never use the excuse that someone else had a better quad.  At least that is the way it was when I had mine.   Yeah even though I now have a KTM, I'm a big time Suzuki fan and 90% of my cycles have bu SUZUKI.  Carry the flag high!

Welcome.

I actually bought this from Nikki Earlywine. I plan on racing down there eventually. Honestly, the haspin track just seemed like a better way to ease into it with out killing myself. Thanks for the info though. I'll have to check out Taylormoto.

The last two races at Haspin have been pretty good. The big track has been in great shape at Haspin. RC Motorsports has done a great job with track prep. The dust has been pretty wicked by the time the mains roll around, but it's also been a pretty dry spring so that hasn't helped. Wish they had more classes for quads, they have like twelve for dirt bikes. Anyway, the racing has been good. If anyone wants to race, on the 25th of April hit up Haspin. The turn out has been real nice.

Sweet.  How have you done in the races.  Feel free to brag a little.  It's ok when someone asks you, ha!

Well i can't really brag. My first race out i broke my clutch in practice and had to pack it up. The last race out there went pretty good. There were exactly 20 quads in the 450 and up class. It was my first race in about 15 or 16 years and I pulled off 8th overall. Not too bad i guess, especially since i was the ONLY person running stock suspension. Nice guys out there though and some damn nice quads. Hopefully the rain holds off this weekend and I can give it another shot.
